Creation of Tears

So quickly they come
buckets an instant
drenching a soul
with uninvited pain
pattern repeating as minutes on a clock
expanding through time
as pain marches on

Their purpose is your pleasure
tears are its legend
punctured wounds of a heart
discarded without care

One unaffected
by creation of tears
drenching cheeks of humanity
discarded without care

Cold calculated greedy indulgence
finding its victim and inflicting its bite
what cost to one for the others greed
left unaccounted among tears that are shed

When passion bears another's pain
indulgence abound
leaves heart drowning alone
in the creation of tears

In the Sunshine there is your smile - in the breeze there is your music - In my laughter yours is there ~sharing a moment in time ~

I've learned...

 

 

To love Lightly and with all my heart

To be patient, in His time our hearts will meet

To Never settle for anything less than you

To Love without alterations or restrictions

acceptance of who and what you are and walk a path together

to find joy not look for sorrow

to cherish, respect and enjoy us

shivering behind a mask of clouds ~

grinning as if it has a secret to tell ~

Spoiled Promise

Ascending to heights never conceived
ever following your footsteps
I call your name
my voice fails to reach your space
I see your face
but do your eyes view
include seeing my hue

The many that surround me
hold no hope
comparison to you
leaves me only a spoiled promise

Should I face a day when all goes wrong
that sky & moon don't appear the same
where hate and greed take over all
may God give me rest at Heaven's gate.

Place you and I have been before

Entwined in each others presence

Comforted by your touch

I feel your breath on my neck

Moments before our lips touch

The senses bring back all of you

Again etched inside my mind

Settling deep within my heart

One again for eternity

Infinite breath of silence

consuming light within its path

invading the moments hanging unspent

reminding the keeper of their lonely continuance

Tedious life suggests normalcy

time jammed without substance

responsibilities rule sanity

sanity escapes waiting for the moment

its screams consume the silence

Heaven's Way

Looking up heavens way

a heart pouring out its pain

worldly wrongs lost to explain

tears desperate to cleanse

heart, mind and soul

searching to mend a world in pain
