The distance between us disappears in the dark
together our bodies cling to each other
warmth comfort we've craved for lifetimes
now but a breath away I feel you touching me
my body  moves in a dance
responding to your touch
only we hear the notes
a dance of desire to be taken into loves arms
satisfied with the pleasure of our passion
Our needs are many
insistent on their resolve
may time and distance find their parting ways
in order that we may dance
every night to our desires

I'm at the park a lot

watching the boys play

it's obvious to most

why they call me Brownie

just in case you wanted to know

the field outside the fence

did you wander here on purpose

just for me to love

both searching and wanting

exactly the same thing

But one craves to read and know

as much as the other

desires to share and be discovered

To be read like a novel 

touched like its leather cover

Gold letters etched in its pages

ageless ~ timeless ~ 

as is his knowledge and use of words

that expands time

takes her page and lights it with fire

forever holding her in his binding

waiting to be read over and over

each word cherished

and held in his heart for eternity
