Sunday Greetings:

May your day split up like a banana split, spent lounging about in a boat made for two, spoonful's of chocolate to awaken your senses, a strawberry sunset to consume before dusk and a vanilla moon behind an ocean view topping off a Sunday built just for two.

May your Sunday be as cool as vanilla ice cream, as sweet as strawberry topping your sky filled w/whipped cream clouds & a cherry on top

Dream

written by: Janette Marie

Surrounded by candelight
Alone in my dreams
Seeing visions of you
Dancing alone

Smiles overcome sadness
as you light up the room
flickers of candelight
become your moonlight

Unaware of your audience
you let your heart free
the music, the rhythm
that's who you become

My dream is consumed
by your presence therein
your beauty, your light
the dancer takes flight

Surrounded by candelight
Is it really a dream
the dancer is no longer
dancing alone

I Wonder

written by: Janette Marie

I wonder if you know
what it is I'm feeling
or the things I'm thinking of
all these days alone

I wonder if you have tears
running down your cheeks
pouring from your eyes
missing me as much

Will you find your way home
to my open door
will you choose to walk away
and not regret your leaving

I wonder if your heart
beats insync with mine
do you hear the things I'm thinking
are you missing me as much

As I sit here with aching heart
knowing your heart is loving
truth resides in both of us
I know we'll be as one

Space

Written by: Janette Marie

Endless elements unconscious of time
existing in universal harmony
sparkling in magic and wonder
do we dare to interfere

Longing to understand your magic
to witness your grace and wonder
we strive to grasp your beauty
and understand your being

Are you amongst the stars
or hidden within the dark
our maker ~ our light
dare we come close
or spoil your beauty trying

Your mysteries are to discover
to challenge the minds of young
mysteries that which dreams are conceived
to know you we risk losing wonder

Bliss

written by: Janette Marie

The flickering of light
between dancing leaves
drained out by the chatter
of inhabitants of my yard

End of a cycle
repeating every day
from dawn until dusk
its work must be done

Like us it has morning
stretching out until noon
growing and being
as baby in Mother's arms

As evening drifts in
all calms to a crawl
contemplating the dark
and the magic it brings

Fireflies and June bugs
buzzing right by
the moonlight the stardust
giving way to the night
Illuminating the mystery
and magic of night
imagination set free
to dream and to be.
