If you climb a tree

will you take me with you

will you take my hand
will you lead the way

show me which branches to hold

which ones to put my weight upon

If you climb a tree

will you let me sit with thee

while we sit upon the tree

will you share your thoughts with me

If you climb a tree

can we stay there forever

to share the view of the beautiful world

so close to the sky - so free

or should we choose to fly

If you climb a tree

please let me come along.
