uncertainty lies behind
but also on the road ahead
Suspense of wanting to know
apprehension of change
fear of losing a friend
not wanting hurt of delusions
Having love in my heart
that was meant only for paper
leaves hopes and dreams
for a dream state of illusions
Heart feels trapped
between chest and throat
standing at the edge of truth
facing the road ahead
Is there a rainbow?
