At the edge of the land
the cool refreshing water
cleansing away the sorrows of yesterday.
The sand becomes a mold
of your feet upon the ground
of a new beginning.
The Sunrise sparkles
across the water
possibilities the future has awaiting
Lifetime of happiness
yet to discover
love and laugher are there to behold
Standing at the edge
of the land
Feet planted firmly
in the sand
She smiles
